Trash Bash

We had so much fun at Trash Bash! The girls learned that service to the community can be a lot of fun. The girls worked hard and picked up trash along the banks of Lake Houston. They each carried their own trash bag. Most of them filled an entire large trash bag. They got pretty heavy by the end of the day. It was pretty cold at the beggining of the day, but the girls did not complain much. It warmed up by the end of the day, and everyone took off their jackets. After they picked up trash they got to eat hotdogs, chips and cookies. They also had a lot of fun playing on the play area and the bounce that they set up for the event. Madilyn was lucky and won a raffle and chose binaculars for her prize. All in all it was a success. Thank you parents for supporting your girls in this worthwhile endevor.
